Ferromolybdenum is a combination of molybdenum and iron that contains 55-70% molybdenum.<\/span><\/span><\/span> One of the purposes of using this ferroalloy is to add molybdenum to steel or cast iron parts because it increases hardness through carbidization.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Therefore, it can be considered one of the hardening ferroalloys of heat-treatable alloy steels.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Also, adding this ferroalloy to the melt and the presence of the molybdenum element in it increases the corrosion resistance of stainless steels.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
